I’m Travis Massner, the founder and developer behind MassnerDev.
I’ve been building custom software for businesses since 2023 — mobile apps, websites, and automations built to save real time for businesses like yours. I’ve got a formal Software Engineering education from Iowa State University with a minor in Cybersecurity, so I can bring you the technical knowledge to go along with the hands-on understanding of what your business needs.
I started MassnerDev to give businesses access to quality software development without having to hire a new employee or having to blindly trust what AI told them. MassnerDev is me, and that’s the point. Hire an agency and you get an account manager, a project manager, and whoever happens to be free that sprint. Hire me and the person who writes the code is sitting in the conversation where you explain the problem. Nothing gets lost on the way from your business to the build.
What I like about this work is the relationship as much as the software — getting to know how a business runs, and building something that fits it instead of something the business has to adapt to.
Away from the keyboard, I enjoy making music and exploring the area with my wife. I love learning new things in the tech space, so I’m always experimenting with new technologies and tools. I also think space exploration is super cool — I’ll often be following the next SpaceX launch to see them get one step closer to Mars.
I gave my life to Jesus in May of 2017, and my faith is the most important thing in my life. It shapes how I show up — for the people closest to me and for the businesses I work with. I want every client to see trustworthiness and integrity in how I run MassnerDev, because that’s what I believe work should look like.
I work out of Ellington, Connecticut, with clients wherever they happen to be.

I learn your business before I write a line of code
I don’t show up with a template and ask you to fill in the blanks. I ask questions, understand how things work day to day, and build from there. The software should fit your business — not the other way around.
No radio silence, no surprise invoices
You’ll always know where your project stands. If something’s taking longer or costing more than we talked about, I’ll tell you before you have to ask — not after.
Honest over easy
If the right answer is “don’t build this” or “that’s not going to work the way you’re picturing it,” that’s what I’ll say. I’d rather lose a project being straight with you than win one by telling you what you want to hear.
My name’s on it — literally
MassnerDev isn’t a brand I hide behind. When something ships, it has my name on it, and I want it to reflect the kind of work I believe in — built with care, delivered with integrity, and worth standing behind.
