Who this app is for

AgTrack tracks harvest loads and grain bin inventory for Wulf Family Farms. It is built and published by Massner Development LLC on the farm's behalf.

There is no public sign-up. A farm administrator creates every account and gives you a one-time password to sign in with. If you have an AgTrack account, it is because you work with the farm.

Information the app collects about you

When an administrator invites you, the app records the name, email address, and optionally the phone number they enter, along with your role (driver or administrator) and whether your account is active. Your email address is your account identifier.

Your password is handled by Firebase Authentication. The app never sees or stores it in readable form.

Every load you log is recorded under your email address, so the farm can see who delivered what. If you allow notifications, the app also stores a push notification token for your device so that alerts can reach it.

Farm records

The rest of what the app stores is the farm's operating data: loads, bins, fields, elevators, trucks, crops, and delivery contracts. These records belong to the farm, not to any one user.

Some fields are free text, such as load notes and the truck driver's name on a load. Those contain whatever is typed into them, so they may include names or other details about people. They are visible to everyone with access to the farm's records, as described below.

Technical information collected automatically

The app uses two Google Firebase services that collect information without you entering anything.

Firebase Crashlytics sends a report when the app crashes. A report contains the error and where in the app it happened, your device model, your operating system version, and an installation identifier that Crashlytics assigns. It does not include your name or email.

Firebase Analytics records that the app was opened, which screens were viewed, roughly where in the world the device is (estimated from its network address), and the device model and operating system. This is Firebase's standard automatic collection. The app does not add its own events and does not attach your name, email, or user ID to analytics.

Google processes this information under Google's own privacy policy.

Where information is stored

Accounts and farm records are stored in Google Firebase, including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. The app's server-side code runs on Google Cloud in the United States.

There is no other server. The app makes no network connections other than to Firebase and, for notifications, to Apple's and Google's push services.

Who can see your information

AgTrack is one shared workspace for the farm. Every active member can see the full list of people who use the app, including each person's name, email address, phone number, and role, and can see every load, bin, field, truck, crop, and contract.

Contract prices are the one exception: only administrators can see them.

Drivers can edit only the loads they logged themselves, and only until an administrator verifies them. Administrators can edit and verify any load, and can invite, deactivate, and reactivate people.

Administrators receive notifications when a load is missing information or a bin's inventory does not add up. Those notifications name the load number or bin, not the person who logged it.

Information stored on your device

So that the app works without a signal, it keeps an offline copy of the farm's records on your device by default, including the list of people. You can turn this off with the “Keep loads offline” setting; the change applies the next time the app starts.

The app also stores your settings on the device, and Firebase Authentication keeps you signed in between launches.

Deleting the app removes all of this from your device. Signing out removes this device's notification token from your account.

Notifications

After you sign in, the app asks whether it may send notifications. If you allow it, your device's push token is stored with your account and used only to deliver AgTrack alerts. You can turn notifications off in the app's settings or in your phone's settings, and the app removes the token when you sign out.

Reports and exports

Administrators can export reports as CSV files and share them through the phone's share sheet, for example by email or by saving to Files. The contract deliveries report includes the driver's name for each load, or the driver's email address if no name is on file. The organic inspection report deliberately leaves out driver identities.

Once a report has been shared, it is outside the app's control. Anyone the administrator sends it to can read it.

Third-party services

The only third-party services in the app are Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, and Crashlytics) and, for delivering notifications, Apple Push Notification service and Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging.

The app contains no advertising, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking across other apps or websites. It does not request your location, camera, photo library, microphone, or contacts.

How information is used

Your information is used to sign you in, to record and attribute the loads you log, to let the farm's administrators manage who has access, to send the notifications you allow, to diagnose crashes, and to understand which parts of the app get used.

It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone outside the farm, Massner Development LLC, and the services named above.

Keeping and removing your information

Accounts are deactivated rather than deleted. A deactivated account cannot sign in or see anything, but the name, email address, and phone number on it stay in the farm's records so that the history of who logged each load remains complete. The farm keeps these records for its own inspection and business needs.

If you want your personal details removed, contact the farm's administrator or email the address below. We will work with the farm to deactivate your account and remove your details where the farm's record-keeping allows.

Children

AgTrack is not directed to children under 13, and accounts are created only by a farm administrator for people who work with the farm.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be revised. Any revision takes effect when it is posted on this page, and the dates above are updated to match.
